Salary: $3,471 to $4,388 per month (SR-10, Step C to I)

Duties Summary

Collects, processes, refines, and tabulates numerical data for statistical analysis; prepares statistical tables, charts, and graphs; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Legal Authorization To Work

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

General Experience

One (1) year of responsible clerical work experience, which demonstrated knowledge of English grammar, spelling, arithmetic, common office appliances and equipment; and the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, carry out clerical procedures, speak and write simply and directly, observe differences in copy and proofread words and numbers quickly and accurately.

Specialized Experience

One (1) year of clerical work experience that involved collecting, processing and tabulating numerical data which demonstrated knowledge of methods and techniques in obtaining measures of central tendency and variability, and techniques of graphic and tabular presentation of statistical data.

You may earn vacation leave at a rate that other employers find tough to match – 21 days each full year from the FIRST year of employment. This compares to an average of 10 days offered by private companies. You may accumulate up to a total of 90 days (720 hours) of vacation.

Paid Sick Leave
