Special Advisor For Policy Matters
You will serve as the special advisor for policy matters pertaining to political-military affairs with countries of Southeast Asia. You will analyze complex political-military issues for their potential impact on military relations and recommends appropriate courses of action. You will prepare Commander, USINDOPACOM, for trips to Southeast Asia and senior staff for visits of distinguished foreign visitors, Congressional delegations, and senior DoD personnel.
You will monitor and review staff actions related to USINDOPACOM defense and security assistance policy. You will initiate preparation of timely reports, providing analyses of immediate or long-term subjects, as self-generated or required by the Division Chief and Regional Director.
