Overview
Position Title: Occupational Therapist (Inpatient and Outpatient)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Therapy
Reports To: Manager of Therapy, Director of Therapy
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will help to ensure that REHAB patients and their families receive caring and dedicated service will provide support for the Therapy Department and assist with a variety of services with a commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive and innovative inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. These services include interpreting physician’s orders, performing evaluations and assessments; designing and implementing plans of care;
maintaining treatment and progress reports; drafting and/or presenting oral or written reports of patient’s status; collaborating with team members toward reaching patient’s goals.
Wage Range: $83,208.32/year to $/year
The actual wage is dependent on the applicant s relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required QualificationsCertification/Licensure:
- Current State of Hawaii OT licensure.
- Current NBCOT certification as an OTR.
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements.
Education:
- Graduate from an ACOTE accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Skills/
Experience:
- Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.
- Ability to clearly communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to safely provide care to patients.
Skills/
Experience:
- For Inpatient:
One (1) year physical rehabilitation experience. - For Outpatient:
Minimum two (2) years physical rehabilitation experience. - For Hand Clinic:
One (1) year experience in hand rehabilitation, participation in at least one (1) splinting workshop which includes dynamic splinting principles.
