As a Patient Service Representative, you will help to ensure that Straub patients and their families receive warm, friendly and considerate assistance will act as a liaison between patients and the professional staff in our Cardiology department and assist with a variety of administrative tasks. These include interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients' medical records; performing accurate and timely processing of all professional/technical fees generated by department providers;
and performing cash handling and collection. We are looking for someone sensitive and helpful, with excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'ī’s people.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school or equivalent. One (1) year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience. Basic computer skills.
Preferred QualificationsBasic medical terminology. Experience with EPIC. International Classification of Diseases 10th edition (ICD-10) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding certification. Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) experience.
