Downstream

Marketing Manager, Acute Care

supports the commercial strategy and execution for the Presource Solutions portfolio within the U.S. Acute segment. This role partners closely with Sales, Business Development, Finance, and Clinical teams to drive new business, strengthen customer retention, and ensure consistent market execution aligned to Cardinal Health standards.

Location

This position can be remote and based anywhere within the United States. Ideal candidates will be able to work within EST or CST business hours.

Responsibilities

Commercial & Downstream Marketing

  • Lead downstream marketing initiatives that support growth, retention, and prioritization of key opportunities.

  • Manage national pipeline activities in collaboration with Sales and Business Development.

  • Support new business implementations and ensure effective commercial onboarding.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales and BCO/Clinician teams to maintain aligned messaging and competitive positioning.

  • Provide field support through sales enablement tools, customer insights, and training content.
  • Develop and maintain field training materials to strengthen readiness and product understanding.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales on contracting and deal modeling to ensure balanced, data-driven decisions.
  • Participate in demand review processes with a focus on field insights and forecast accuracy.

Product, Brand & Market Execution

  • Drive Cardinal Health brand consistency across the Presource and Acute portfolio.
  • Support product marketing through a commercial lens, ensuring clear articulation of value and differentiation.
  • Manage RFP/RFI submissions with cross‑functional input and quality oversight.

Strategic Support

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Presource Go‑to‑Market Strategy.
  • Monitor customer, competitive, and market trends to identify opportunities and inform commercial planning.
  • Develop and support training materials to align with business initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in custom kitting solutions preferred
  • Downstream marketing or sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or medical device industries preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically (Estimated 5-10%)
