Therapist – Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions. The role involves ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to treatment protocols while working closely with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments precisely as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses during treatments and adjust procedures accordingly.
• Operate and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment including linear accelerators and simulators.
• Document treatment details, patient progress, and any adverse reactions accurately.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to develop and modify patient treatment plans.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist.
• Maintain certification in CPR at the Healthcare Professional level.
• Demonstrate prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to operate specialized radiation therapy equipment proficiently.
• Exhibit commitment to patient safety and quality care.
