Duties
Obtain comprehensive patient history and perform physical examinations.
Document care and keep medical records in compliance with federal regulations and facility requirements.
Develop tailored educational programs that address the specific needs of each patient.
Provide screening, counseling and referrals to patients experiencing complex health issues, such as infertility, abnormal testing, and acute/chronic gynecological conditions.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentors and trains other healthcare professionals, vital to the success of the OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic.
Work closely with providers, nurses, medical assistants, social workers, and other health care staff clinicians to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
Provide timely follow-up on screening, procedures, test results and treatment plans.
