Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai 39;i. Straub is home to the Pacific Region b4s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai 1bi, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.

Our team of trained gastroenterologists evaluates and treats esophageal, stomach, intestinal, bowel, liver and pancreatic disorders. These physicians are committed to bring relief to patients suffering from abdominal pain, ulcers, gallstones, bowel obstructions, liver ailments, intestinal inflammations and benign or malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, and can perform a wide variety of diagnostic tests, such as endoscopic examination of the area, biopsies or radiologic examinations.

If you are highly organized and have a talent for coordinating multiple areas in a single department, you could be the ideal candidate for our Lead Patient Service Representative position. In this role, you will coordinate work activities and staffing at our Gastroenterology department, including training and maintaining of master schedules; processing of professional/technical fees generated by department providers; interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients 27 medical records;

and acting as a liaison between patients and the professional staff by facilitating clerical and reception responsibilities and assisting in administrative tasks. Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Two (2) years clerical support experience in a health care setting including medical insurance and collection experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate b2s degree in business administration and/or related field. International Classification of Diseases 10th edition (ICD-10) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT).

Medical terminology experience. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) experience.
