As a Nurse Aide at Palolo Chinese Home in Honolulu, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with various daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. By helping with grooming, bathing, and mobility, you will directly contribute to the residents' quality of life.

Communication is key in this role, as you will report any changes in residents' conditions to the licensed nurse. Maintaining a safe environment is essential, adhering to regulatory guidelines and infection control measures. Accurate documentation of care provided is also vital.

To excel in the Nurse Aide role, candidates must possess essential skills and qualifications. Proficiency in English is crucial for effective communication. The ability to provide both physical and emotional care to elderly and disabled individuals is vital.

Successful candidates will demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with current CPR, First Aid, and Nurse Aide certification from an accredited training program.
