Kaiser Permanente seeks a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging within a technology-driven environment. In this role, you'll perform and oversee complex nuclear medicine procedures, calibrate and maintain imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and IT teams, optimize imaging protocols, and maintain accurate electronic records. As a senior team member, you'll mentor junior technologists and contribute to continuous improvement, supporting an innovative, patient-centered care model aligned with a modern, integrated IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures with adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot nuclear medicine and imaging equipment, coordinating with IT when needed
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate dosing and documentation
  • Analyze imaging data, generate preliminary reports, and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and imaging archives within integrated IT systems
  • Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior technologists and new team members
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, radiation safety, and Kaiser Permanente standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, protocol optimization, and technology upgrades
