Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider.

Pay rate for this role is $112,000 - $126,000 annually (based on experience)

Schedule:

Full-time (40 hours weekly). Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Summary of position: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team. In this general practice role, you will diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and injuries. Operating in accordance with state regulations – including physician supervision or collaborative agreements where applicable – you will deliver high-quality patient care by performing all core clinical duties required for the position.

Qualifications and Abilities

  • License :
    Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Hawaii.
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited certificate Nurse Practitioner program.
  • License/Certification: Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • State Recognition: PA certification officially recognized by the state of Hawaii.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited and certified Physician Assistant program.

Experience & Core Credentials (Both Roles):

  • Experience: One (1) year of clinical work experience as an NP or PA in a primary care clinic is preferred.
  • Certifications: Current national certifications appropriate to the role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, DEA) as required.

General Duties include but are not limited to

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Renders medical care to patients, including examining general physical conditions, diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries, and advising on disease prevention.
  • Diagnostics & Treatment Administration: Orders, executes, and analyzes various tests, lab results, and diagnostic images, while administering treatments, medications, minor surgeries, and immunizations.
  • Prescriptive Authority & Referrals: Prescribes medications upon being granted prescriptive authority by the State of Hawaii and refers patients to medical specialists or appropriate agencies for specialized treatment.
  • Documentation & Operations: Maintains accurate and thorough medical records through chart documentation, completes required government and clinic forms, and participates in after-hours call coverage.

    Collaboration:

    Follows all established policies, procedures, and protocols of Waikiki Health, while actively participating in professional quality assurance, staff meetings, and clinical guideline revisions.
