AB Staffing Solutions is seeking Physical Therapists for full-time, school-based opportunities throughout Hawaii. Spend your workweek helping students improve mobility, independence, and access to their educational environment — and when the school day ends, you're already in Hawaii.

  • Hawai‘i Island – North
  • Hawai‘i Island – East
  • O‘ahu – Honolulu
Assignment Details:
  • Position: Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Location: Hawaii.
  • Setting: School-Based / On-Site.
  • Employment: Full-Time W-2 Travel Contract.
  • Contract: 2026–2027 School Year.
  • Travel Package: Up to approximately $9,300 per month.
  • Package may include a tax-free per diem for qualifying travelers.
  • Travel reimbursement included.
  • 10 days of PTO.
  • Compliance reimbursement included.
What You'll Be Doing:

As a school-based Physical Therapist, you'll work with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students safely access and participate in their educational environment.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Providing direct and consultative physical therapy services.
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments.
  • Developing and implementing student-centered goals.
  • Supporting mobility, balance, strength, coordination, positioning, and functional movement.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and the IEP process.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining required documentation.
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and related-service professionals.
  • Recommending adaptive equipment, mobility devices, positioning supports, and environmental modifications.
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current PT license in good standing and eligibility for Hawaii PT licensure.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
  • Flexibility with grade levels and student populations.
  • Willingness to relocate to Hawaii for the assignment.
