POSITION SUMMARY:The Pharmacy Operations Specialist provides administrative and operational support to pharmacy leadership and pharmacy locations. The position serves as the primary coordinator for employer-sponsored immunization clinics, with increased clinic responsibilities during the seasonal vaccination period. During the remainder of the year, the position supports pharmacy operations, billing, credentialing, and special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to):Employer Immunization Clinics
- Coordinate employer vaccination clinics, including scheduling, employer communication, staffing, supplies, and logistics.
- Manage clinic emails, calendars, rosters, and required documentation.
- Coordinate pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for clinic assignments.
- Support clinic-day operations and post-clinic follow-up.
- Assist with clinic billing, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate employer and clinic records.
- Provide administrative and operational support to pharmacy leadership and pharmacy locations.
- Assist with purchasing, inventory, vendor communication, billing, and other pharmacy operations.
- Maintain records and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative functions.
- Support implementation of new pharmacy programs, services, systems, and processes.
- Assist with reports, spreadsheets, data collection, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support projects designed to improve pharmacy efficiency, service, and operations.
- Work with pharmacy leadership and other departments on assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and scheduling systems.
- Ability to work effectively with pharmacists, technicians, employers, vendors, and other departments
- High school / Secondary school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.
- Pharmacy technician registration preferred but not required.
- Speak, Read and Write English
- Air condition while in store, subject to outside conditions of heat, rain, and wind while retrieving wagons/helping customers to their car, and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chill
- Very fast paced
