Position: $38/hour | Registered Dietitian | Part-time
This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Experience: 2 years of professional nutrition therapy experience in a clinical setting; 5 years preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).Current Licensed Dietitian (LD) license in good standing with the State of Hawaii.Type: Part-time;

Schedule:Day Shift, 9:00am to 5:00pm (In-office 3 times a week)
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Provide medical nutrition therapy and develop individualized nutritional care plans based on patient needs, clinical guidelines, and evidence-based practices.Apply knowledge of medical terminology, nutrition billing guidelines, clinical regulations, and professional nutrition theories.Assess patient health risks, support health promotion initiatives, and provide clear, accessible nutrition education.Use motivational interviewing and strong interpersonal communication skills to encourage patient engagement and support positive health outcomes.Develop easy-to-understand patient education materials and communicate nutritional recommendations effectively.Identify and utilize appropriate community, professional, and educational resources to support patient care.Manage multiple patients and clinical priorities effectively while demonstrating strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, providers, and members of the healthcare team.Position Requirements:
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification preferred.Kahu Malama Nurses is part of Array Corporation
