THE ROLE Supporting catering operations by assisting with various tasks related to the preparation, setup, service, and cleanup of events.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all catering equipment.
Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event.
Set up tables, top chairs and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor/Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
Set all glassware silverware, dinnerware, and additional set-up necessities in a timely manner.
Ensure that all catered areas have been left in a sanitary and organized manner.
Serve all functions in a professional, courteous, efficient manner.
Break down all catering areas after event.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE Must have a High School Diploma or GED.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of customers and staff.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
Always present a professional appearance and demeanor during the workday.
Excellent organizational/ planning skills and Strong customer service skills.
Ability to deliver exceptional guest service with attention to detail and accuracy.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Food Handlers Card preferred.
TIPS Certified preferred.
COMPENSATION $80,000 - $90,000 - commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
