Houseperson

Position

Houseperson – Housekeeping Team at Wayfinder Waikiki.

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including guest room corridors, offices, elevators, stairwells, and other areas as needed.
• Assist room attendants with guest room tasks, such as stripping and replacing linen, replenishing amenities, glassware, towels, and other requested items.
• Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect trash and soiled linen, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Receive, store, and organize housekeeping supplies and department shipments; maintain clean and orderly storerooms.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and helpful manner to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow department standard operating procedures for all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with laundry duties, including preparing loads for washing, loading and unloading machines, folding laundry, and performing other related duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50‑100 pounds; must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the duration of the shift.

$25.30 per hour.
