King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Shave Ice Attendant to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job:

• Responsible for efficiently and courteously assisting guests with shave ice orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Courteously wait on guests, make recommendations, up sell.
• Professionally serve shave ice, check-in with and monitor guests' experience throughout their visit to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Accurately handle all cash and credit card transactions.
• Complete all side work (filling syrup containers, stocking station).
• Assist with cleaning work area and guest area to Marriott standards and all health codes at all times.
• Adhere to food safety requirements.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge/Education/

Experience:

• One (1) year experience preferred. High school or equivalent education.
• Micros knowledge highly preferred. Ability to operate a computerized point of sale system (Micros).
• TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

• English speaking or bilingual.
• Operate cash register.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Dependable.
