Human Resource Coordinator

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $27 to $28/hour

Type: Full-time;
Contract

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Note:

This role is not remote. Applicants must be able to commute to the job location as required.

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join a growing team. Kahu Malama Nurses is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology‑enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.

Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative position.
  • Onboarding or credentialing experience is a plus, but not required.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Pre‑Hire Preparation
  • Review new hire requisitions and confirm all required documentation is received.
  • Prepare and send offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Initiate background checks, drug screens, and reference checks.
  • Verify eligibility to work (I‑9 documentation).
  • Create new hire profiles in the HRIS/ATS system.
  • Send welcome emails and pre‑boarding packets.
First‑Day Coordination
  • Schedule orientation sessions and communicate agendas.
  • Prepare and distribute onboarding materials (handbooks, benefit guides, policies).
  • Coordinate with IT for email, system logins, and equipment setup.
  • Ensure workstations, badges, and parking passes are ready.
Post‑Hire Follow‑Up
  • Track completion of required onboarding forms (direct deposit, W‑4, benefits enrollment).
  • Collect onboarding feedback from new hires and managers.
Position Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
