ETS Human Resources Manager

Overview

The State of Hawaii, Department of Accounting and General Services, Office of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), located on the Island of Oahu, offers an exempt, temporary at-will position responsible for supporting and overseeing ETS Human Resources activities.

This position is responsible for providing support and overseeing ETS Human Resources activities.

Knowledge of federal and State laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and practices related to human resources management.

• Read and understand collective bargaining agreements.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources management, business, public administration or related field.

Human resources management experience performing work on difficult and complex situations and problems in a given personnel specialty with responsibility for furnishing advisory services to management in the overall aspects of program development and evaluation; or Personnel management experience performing extensive work in a given area of program development and evaluation, development of new and revised procedures, review of working situations to ensure that departments are following guidelines for sound personnel practices, recommending legislation or studying impact of proposed legislation, and engaging in personnel research aimed toward improving the personnel system.

Monthly Salary: $5,833.00 – $6,611.00
