Job Summary
Coordinates and administers the corporate staffing function within the Human Development Department. Interviews prospective team members for exempt and non‑exempt jobs up to the managerial level, refers applicants to specific openings, administers pre‑employment tests, checks references, coordinates temporary staffing, conducts exit interviews and handles related activities and compliance monitoring.
Position will be full time in our headquarters office in Plano, TX 75093.
Primary Responsibilities- Coordinate recruiting efforts to obtain qualified team members, including interviewing and scheduling arrangements with requesting department management for exempt and non‑exempt jobs up to the managerial level.
- Discuss requirements for various job vacancies with appropriate management.
- Interview, screen and, where applicable, test applicants.
- Prepare internal postings and/or external advertisements with the hiring manager and advertising agency, as needed.
- Arrange for appropriate posting of job openings and schedule interviews for prospective internal candidates with requesting department management on a timely basis.
- Respond promptly to applications and inquiries for employment with the company and to unsuccessful candidates.
- Coordinate and arrange all necessary travel and lodging to ensure effective recruitment of prospective team members.
- Prepare offer letters for selected candidates.
- Extend job offers by confirming salary and benefit information, start time and date, and any details for moving arrangements or other accommodations.
- Stay current with employment practices and techniques, local, state, and federal employment practice laws, advise company management, make recommendations, and implement approved plans to maintain compliance with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action rules and regulations.
- Participate in ensuring company compliance with the affirmative action plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline desirable. - Specialized Skills/Training:
Proven success recruiting for system integration roles; skill in interviewing techniques, basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent organizational, communication and computer skills, and basic understanding of the company’s organizational structure and team member policies. - Experience:
5+ years of human resources experience, including interviewing, recruitment and/or general employment activities.
