Position: PUBLIC HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT (PHIG) HUMAN RESOURCES PROJECT SPECIALIST

The position is located in Downtown on the Island of Oahu.

$6,221 - $8,855 monthly, salary commensurate w/ training and experience

Duties Summary

Exempt, Temporary, Full-Time, Non-Civil service appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to provide expertise, guidance, and resources for human resources projects related to workforce development, grant requests and related reorganizations, including the areas of employee/employer labor relations, classification and compensation, and recruitment and placement, as part of the Public Health Infrastructure Grant Project.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE: Three and one half (3 ½) years of specialized experience in any one or any combination of the following: recruitment, placement, examination, position classification, pay or wage administration, employee management, relations and services, employee development, labor relations, human resources research, and program development.

Master’s degree in human resources, business, public administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of the required specialized experience.

This position is exempt from civil service and considered temporary in nature.
