Position Summary

Parker Hannifin’s Industrial Aftermarket Filtration business is looking for a Human Resources Generalist in Slater, MO. The role supports the Human Resources Manager in administering HR services across multiple shifts within the Slater facility. The incumbent interacts with management, salaried and hourly employees to answer HR questions and resolve issues in compliance with company and legal policies. Responsibilities include developing, planning, coordinating, and implementing HR goals and strategies focused on employee engagement and accomplishing strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Take an active role in understanding business issues, suggesting solutions, and following through to resolution.
  • Recruit, hire, and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Conduct training sessions related to compliance, benefits, and other topics as required.
  • Participate in the administration of wages, salaries, benefits, and 401(k).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in performance management and development of hourly and salaried personnel.
  • Administer and maintain HRIS.
  • Explain and administer company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate group processes, enable and encourage employee involvement, and problem‑solve resulting in best practice.
Required Qualifications
  • 4‑year college degree or 2‑year college degree with equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of broad‑based HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access or the ability to learn Access.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills at all levels within the facility.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participating team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and training
