Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HRIS Specialist
Overview
The HR Services Associate – Benefits will oversee and administer benefits processes, supporting employees with their benefits queries, working with partners and insurers, and administering various benefits plans.
Responsibilities- Execute all HR services and process Tier 2 queries, such as payroll, benefits, and leaves.
- Oversee day‑to‑day administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, life insurance, and other allowances.
- Understand end‑to‑end processes and assist in all steps of multi‑step processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and brokers to ensure smooth operation of benefits programs.
- Support employees with Tier 2 questions and requests through Case Management System.
- Create and improve internal knowledge about benefits processes.
- Create, improve, and keep HR articles and guides on benefit‑related matters up to date.
- Ensure employees are enrolled in their benefits.
- Work closely with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve issues and optimize service delivery.
- Manage benefits invoices.
- Execute on SLA and KPI’s.
- Provide excellent customer service, high‑quality resolution, and consistent support of standard processes by following documented work instructions and guidelines.
- Follow compliance requirements for SOX, Employee Data Governance, and other policy requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all communications and stakeholder support.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of related experience or equivalent.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in benefits administration in the U.S. and/or Canada.
- San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $69,000 to $107,000 per year
- California (Non‑SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $63,000 to $98,000 per year
- Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $57,000 to $89,000 per year
