Position: Data Analyst/Intelligence Analyst (5491)

Ocean Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, has an opening for a highly motivated Data Analyst/Intelligence Analyst located in Honolulu, HI.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, relevant intelligence experience, and the skills necessary to successfully perform the Intelligence Analyst role.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provides expert scholarly advice, and consultation to projects and professional co-workers.
  • Apply expert and highly specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data, and develop conclusions, recommendations and strategies.
  • Exhibits expertise in performing a specialized job, task or skill.
  • Possesses greater-than-normal expertise or insight relative to a particular technical or operational discipline, system, or process, and has been selected or appointed to use such expertise to solve a particular problem.
  • Assists project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in specialty areas.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and disseminating tactical, investigative and strategic drug intelligence to Federal, State, local, and foreign agencies.
  • Providing investigative analytical support to the government costumer.
  • Serving as the direct liaison between clients and the appropriate client country teams for all actionable leads relating to chemical shipments.
  • Provides input/guidance to management on activities/directions best able to support clients in achieving overall success with chemical diversion investigations and potential chemical seizures.
  • Provides investigative and strategic analysis with information obtained through the investigation of drug trafficking organizations and related activities.
  • Prepares deliverables in the form of investigative reports, strategic assessments, and scheduled routine reports.
  • Collects, analyzes and disseminates all sources of investigative intelligence and provides comprehensive intelligence support for all facets of high priority enforcement cases.
  • Research open sources and law enforcement/commercial sources to exploit and identify trafficker assets.
  • Provides enforcement decision makers with relevant investigative information upon which tactical and operational decisions are based.
  • Coordinates the use of investigative intelligence for enforcement operations and identifies and recommends investigative targets for enforcement action.
  • Prepares data visualization charts in the form of various proprietary databases and other products.
  • Conducts research to identify new data resources to enhance the intelligence collection process and identify links between various drug trafficking organizations; disseminates data for integration into the overall company strategy.
  • Focuses on investigative intelligence resources, setting priorities to provide investigative intelligence assessments, and reports.
  • Performs data analysis of large unique data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Performs collection and data input.
  • Writes reports on drug trafficking tactics, techniques, trends and patterns, and emerging threats.
  • Prepares and briefs investigative intelligence assessments, summarizing and evaluating trends and significant operational strategies.
Position Requirements
  • Master’s degree or higher in a scientific, technical or business discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive work experience, culminating in current role as a senior technical/business professional who acts as an adviser in complex and critical client projects.
Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management and computer software programs.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs.
  • Experience working in the federal law enforcement, Intelligence Community (IC), or Department of Defense (DoD) communities.
