- Supports the implementation, operation, and sustainment of network boundary protections for training and simulation systems
- Assists in maintaining secure connectivity between enclaves while ensuring training systems remain available and compliant with cybersecurity requirements
- Performs hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and change support for boundary components in a controlled environment
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of enclave boundary protections and boundary updates
- Performs troubleshooting across enclaves and operating systems
- Performs scheduled maintenance and systems upgrades
- Supports audits, inspections, and vulnerability remediation activities
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Participates in special projects as required
- Education: AS/AA in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience; military and MTC experience preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Provide support and maintenance of network boundary components including firewalls, routers, switches, etc. at enclave boundaries
- Strong understanding of RMF (to include documentation and artifacts), boundary relevant STIGS, and cybersecurity compliance
- Knowledge of firewall rules
- Application of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANS, DNS, DHCP, etc
- Working knowledge in configuration and management of primary switches, all remote nodes, and various communications devices
- Experience with VMware
- Support system integration and training events requiring temporary boundary changes
- Certification: SEC+ is required;
Network+ or CCNA will be considered - Security Clearance Level: MUST be able to obtain Interim / Secret Clearance within 6 months of hire

Skills and Abilities
:- Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certification
- Superb communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate appropriately
- Must be able to perform with minimal guidance
- Location: On Customer Site/moderate travel to other customer sites throughout Pacific AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $93,610. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
