Enterprise Architect

This on-site role based in Honolulu, Hawaii will be an individual contributor serving as a senior enterprise technology leader responsible for aligning business strategy with enterprise architecture. The role ensures systems, applications, and platforms are secure, scalable, resilient, compliant, and optimized to drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Acting as a trusted advisor to executives and technology teams, this leader provides a holistic architectural vision and governs its execution across the organization.

• Translate business strategy into enterprise technology roadmaps and target architectures
• Advise executives on technology investments and emerging trends
• Align IT portfolios to business capabilities, eliminating redundancy and maximizing value
• Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and reference models
• Develop blueprints guiding application, data, integration, and infrastructure design
• Lead modernization efforts including cloud, digital platforms, and scalable architectures
• Establish and oversee architecture governance (e.g., ARB)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal control requirements
• Identify architectural risks and drive resiliency, disaster recovery, and continuity planning

• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, cloud, data platforms) for business impact
• Lead proofs of concept and provide architectural oversight across delivery life cycles
• Promote best practices in security, performance, scalability, and reuse

• Bridge business and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment
• Guide solution architects and engineering teams in implementation
• Mentor architects and promote integration across systems, data, and infrastructure

• 10+ years progressive IT experience; 5+ years in architecture or senior technology leadership
• Proven enterprise-wide architecture governance in complex organizations
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
• Deep knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, data management, security frameworks, and integration patterns
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s or relevant certifications preferred
