Position SummaryFirst Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking aBusiness Systems Analyst II to join our Applications Management Department. In this role, you will support application(s) from a technical system administrator and business analyst perspective. Responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new or enhanced computerized systems. Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make logical decisions based on available information.
Review business and application processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
CompensationThe annual salary range for this role is $65k - $80k/year; commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems; or equivalent work experience required.
- Three to four years of experience in professional level applications support or related banking experience required.
- Business Analyst certification from a well-respected organization (e.g. IIBA, PMI) preferred.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix), server hardware, installing application patches/hotfixes, upgrades, database, networking, performance tuning, capacity management, etc.
- Knowledge of mainframe or client server applications.
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and manage conflict.
- Skill in understanding and focusing on the business unit needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with business units.
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow‑through.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
