Duties
* Serves as the HQ PACAF SAP Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of information systems to the PACAF SAPMO, Program Manager and Lead MAJCOM GSSO.
* Serves as Senior Cybersecurity Analyst and manager of Cyber risk management framework implementation and integration for programs and special projects.
* Develops and executes Cybersecurity assessment and monitoring strategies of multiple unique mission critical IT networks.
* Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
* Facilitates and participates in discussions, meetings, committees and or special projects, and presents briefings and prepares recommendations and reports affecting the near-term and long-range infrastructure and capabilities of special enclave networks and mission support IT. * Direct Deposit:
All federal employees are required to have direct deposit.
* This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
* Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. Incumbent of this position is subject to the possibility of a random drug test.
* The employee must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, with favorable adjudication for Sensitive Compartmented Information as a condition of employment.
* The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Overtime and/or emergency overtime may be required.
* Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Failure to receive the proper IA certification will result in removal from this position.
* Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this six month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3.
* This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507. Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of wartime/contingency operations.
* Incumbents of key positions must be removed from their military recall status if alternative for filling of the position during an emergency are not available.
* This is a Mission Essential position performing a Mission Critical Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
* This position may be designated mission essential based on local conditions. Mission essential personnel report for duty at normal times when the base is closed or delayed reporting, and remain on duty during phased or early release.
