This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement, not W-2 employment. Consultants execute a PSCG Master Independent Consultant. Consultants set their own hours within defined deliverable deadlines, maintain their own equipment, and are free to work for other clients. No PSCG benefits apply; consultants manage their own taxes, insurance, and retirement.
Essential Healthcare Solutions LLC is supporting Pinnacle Solutions & Consulting Group (PSCG), an SBA-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas, in its search for motivated, solution-driven team players eager to embrace the responsibilities of working in a dynamic and professionally rewarding environment. PSCG maintains Senior Technical Writers and Editors for per-task-order engagement supporting surge proposal writing, large deliverable production, and specialized editorial needs on federal disaster response task orders.
THEENGAGEMENT
PSCG is looking for Senior Technical Writers and Editors for per-task-order engagement supporting federal proposal surges, large deliverable production, and specialized editorial work. Suitable for experienced federal proposal writers and technical communicators who value project-based flexibility.
TYPICAL SCOPE OF WORK- Draft and edit federal proposal responses and task order deliverables.
- Apply Shipley or similar structured proposal development methodology.
- Produce technical reports, plans, and briefings to federal consulting standards.
- Conduct quality control review of deliverables and proposals.
- Support graphics development and document formatting for deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or related discipline.
- Minimum seven (7) years of federal proposal writing or technical writing experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio of federal proposals or significant federal deliverables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document collaboration platforms.
- Active clients or portfolio demonstrating genuine independent contractor status.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Public Trust clearance.
- Shipley Certified Proposal Manager or Certified Proposal Professional (APMP).
- Prior emergency management, disaster response, or homeland security proposal experience.
- Graphics development skills (Visio, Illustrator, or equivalent).
- Engagement under PSCG Master Independent Consultant Agreement.
- Consultant works remotely with own equipment; PSCG provides access to deliverable-specific reference materials only.
