Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
The Opportunity
Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of junior employees.
You Have- Experience with troubleshooting
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as network security, system security, or security operations
- Knowledge of security tools or environments through coursework, labs, or internships
- Knowledge of the automation concepts of scripting such as simple scripts, workflows, or task automation
- Ability to document issues and solutions
- Ability to follow existing playbooks and assist in automating repetitive security tasks
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Knowledge of log analysis or SIEM tools
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools such as endpoint protection, network monitoring, or cloud security platforms
- Knowledge of Linux or command‑line environments
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
CompensationSalary range: $55,200.00 to $ (annualized in USD). Compensation is determined by factors including location, education, skills, and experience.

Work ModelRemote, Hybrid, or Onsite work model may apply. Remote roles may require occasional on‑site work. Hybrid roles expect frequent work at a Booz Allen facility. Onsite roles are primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
