HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer in our Honolulu, Hawaii location. This position reports to the Site OIC/Deputy OIC. The selected candidate will be part of the team responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and technical readiness of the program and facility equipment. Provides technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch‑standing duties; manages all program systems, equipment, and components. Troubleshoot system outages;

coordinate with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime; notify senior program personnel when anomalies or outages occur; qualify on all applicable equipment; maintain the habitability of program spaces; conduct preventive maintenance as required; review and update Standard Operating Procedures as required; provides Critical Information Requirements (CIR) to the chain of command.

This role will provide relocation assistance to the most qualified candidate chosen if residing out of state.

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Provides technical expertise for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems
• Performs duties as Power Control Station/ Power Safety Officer (PCO/PSO) oversees the conduct of routine and preventative maintenance
• Informs the chain of command of any substantive changes to routine system configuration or capability
• Drafts daily/monthly/weekly watch bills in support of operational requirements
