UX Designer

UX Designer – SaaS Product Experience

Location: Hybrid (On-site for first 90 days), must be a resident of Hawaii.
Employment Type: Full-Time.

In this role you will lead the user experience design process from research and discovery through wireframes and prototyping, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and a Marketing Designer to shape how users interact with a complex SaaS platform in the HR tech space. You will focus on usability, clarity, and structure—helping users navigate intricate workflows and engage with core HR processes in a modern, approachable way.

• Conduct user research and translate insights into journey maps, task flows, and experience improvements.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that clarify complex workflows.
• Lead UX strategy and design for product features from discovery through delivery.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Designer to ensure UI elements align with brand and design system standards.
• Contribute to the evolution of the internal design system with a focus on usability and scalability.
• Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.

• 3+ years of experience in UX design for digital products, especially SaaS or business platforms.
• Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles and their application to complex systems.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, including the ability to build and communicate interactive prototypes.
• Experience designing and documenting within a design system.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A mindset that values continuous improvement, experimentation, and customer empathy.

• Experience in HR tech, payroll, benefits, or compliance platforms.

• Work on a product with enterprise‑level impact and direct involvement in product development.

Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI. (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $ per year.
