Description
The Principal Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) is a senior individual contributor responsible for solution architecture leadership and governance across the enterprise technology portfolio. In partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Business leadership, the ESA defines enterprise reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and approved solution patterns, translating architectural principles and intent into concrete, enforceable designs applied consistently across the portfolio in support of business objectives and long-term enterprise direction.
ResponsibilitiesThe role provides architectural authority across internal teams, vendors, and system integrators through technical credibility, influence, and decision rights, bridging architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure consistent execution of solution designs. The Principal ESA engages across the full enterprise portfolio lifecycle, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, sustainable, operable, and upgrade‑resilient across both application and underlying cloud/infrastructure platforms.
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Masters degree in IT or related field
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Experience working within enterprise SaaS ecosystems and platform‑centric environments.
