Position: IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) with Security Clearance
Duties
* For the GS-13:
* You will work in the Cybersecurity Division supporting RMF, GRC, vulnerability management, enterprise cybersecurity assessments, and threat intelligence.
* You will track, review and update all systems within the Authoring Official's (AO) Purview.
* You will attend or assign team member to participate or attend meetings, working groups or broads.
* You will prepare briefs, papers and presentations to advise the Cybersecurity Leadership on risks associated with IT capability assessments and/or authorizations.
* You will support technical procedures and processes with the command to document the status of IT capability assessment and/or authorization, by identifying configuration information, and ensuring the appropriate configurations applied.
* You will conduct cybersecurity evaluations, audits, reviews assessments within the headquarters (HQ), and Direct Reporting Units (DRU).
* You will participate in meetings and work groups addressing cybersecurity issues.
* For the GS-12:
* You will perform duties as they are assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* Some travel inside the continental US (CONUS) and outside the continental US(OCONUS) is required. If OCONUS travel is required, an official passport is also required. Travel will be approximately 5 days per every 6 months.
* Duties may entail alternative duty schedules (including extended shifts (greater than 8hours); nights, weekends, and/or holidays; being recalled for urgent situations; and/or overtime work in response to surge situations).
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (752-Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner) proficiency level (541-Vulnerability Assessment Analyst).
* The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. Qualifications For the GS-13:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Hands on experience with National Institutes of Science and Technology (NIST) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF),
2) Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, vulnerability management, and enterprise cybersecurity assessments,
3) Analyze threat intelligence,
4) Provide high level briefings and prepare written documents to Senior Leaders on a regular basis and
5) Attention to details. For the GS-12:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Hands on experience with National Institutes od Science and Technology (NIST) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF),
2) Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, vulnerability management, and enterprise cybersecurity assessments,
3) Analyze threat intelligence,

6) At this level, the employee will be given more direction and guidance by the supervisor.
