Position Overview
We are seeking a Desktop PC Lifecycle Refresh Technician to support a large-scale PC Lifecycle Replacement project at a healthcare facility in Lihue, Kauai. This on‑site role focuses on refreshing end‑user devices, including imaging new PCs, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deploying replacement systems, and decommissioning legacy equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry‑level IT professional looking to gain hands‑on desktop support experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on‑site desktop and technical support to end users during the PC refresh initiative.
- Image, configure, and deploy Windows‑based desktop and laptop systems.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assist with PC replacements, including data transfer and workstation setup.
- Decommission and properly dispose of or inventory equipment.
- Support Active Directory tasks such as user logins and basic account troubleshooting.
- Document work performed and follow established IT procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with end users.
- Perform additional IT support tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic experience with desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Hands‑on experience with PC imaging and deployments.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Office 365.
- Exposure to Active Directory environments.
- Understanding of help desk and desktop support best practices.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in an on‑site environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally when moving or setting up equipment.
- Previous help desk or desktop support experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare environments (preferred, not required).
- Basic documentation and ticketing system experience.

Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
PayThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
