Description
Aloha! One of Hawaii's healthcare companies is seeking a Desktop Technician for their site on the island of Kaua'i. The client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist in its PC Lifecycle Replacement project at their Wilcox Medical Center location on Kauai. This position would assist in supporting hardware/software, imaging machines, troubleshooting, and decommissioning old PCs. Other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities- Assist in supporting hardware and software.
- Image machines and troubleshoot issues.
- Decommission old PCs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Basic hardware/software troubleshooting experience.
- Experience imaging devices.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion while moving equipment.
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Free on‑site parking included.
- Contract will be six months to start with possibility of long‑term quarterly extension.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Compliance RequirementsBackground check required; drug test required.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $23.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
