Systems Engineer

• Identify system and network requirements and design solutions for managed service customers
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate application and network options
• Deploy various IT network solutions including Virtual Machines, Cloud Solutions, and Secure Multi-Site Networks
• Troubleshoot and repair servers and networks in high up-time requirement environments
• Oversee system and network maintenance for various networks
• Perform server and network administration tasks
• Manage implementation of projects

• Provide escalation support for systems/engineering issues (Tier
  3)
• As a technical leader, provide knowledge and support to technicians
• Plan, implement, maintain, and operate client IT solutions

• 5-7+ years direct IT experience
• Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE Preferred), Microsoft Cloud, Security certifications
• Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and self-motivated - Initiative is a requirement
• Friendly and able to work in a team
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Ability to create scripts in VBS, Power Shell, Python, Perl or other language
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; certifications or experience will be considered in lieu of degree
