What You’ll Do

  • Drive product vision and roadmap of the company’s digital strategies to ensure a superior customer experience, drive engagement, increase site conversion and revenue growth.
  • Drive product ideation and innovation to launch efforts, including research, business requirements definition and metrics analysis to facilitate development, testing and launch of path‑to‑purchase projects as well as infrastructure improvements, with a measurement mindset.
  • Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, analytics, and Information Technology partners to review business processes, establish business needs/requirements & write stories ensuring delivery of new features.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with business owners to assemble and prioritize strategic roadmap initiatives specific to the path to purchase, incorporating company‑wide objectives into the plan.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (eCommerce, Finance, Tax management, Loss prevention, Legal) to define feasibility and best‑practice testing components, create supporting user stories, business requirement documents and specifications (e.g., ROI analyses, functional specifications, use cases, usability scenarios).
  • Work closely with Omni Senior Delivery Manager to ensure that initiatives proceed according to schedule and meet functional and design specifications.
  • Work closely with other product managers and development teams across the current tech stack to identify interdependencies and incorporate other business lines into technology plans.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Participate in Discovery, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, and UAT cycles and sign off on all development initiatives before website “go live” implementation.
  • Identify and solicit internal recommendations for website improvement and incorporate them into product roadmap discussions.
  • Perform cost/benefit analyses of proposed initiatives to determine priority and feasibility.
  • Build relationships and act as liaison between creative, copy, development, QA, and management groups to reach consensus on specifications for new website features and functionality.
  • Partner to incorporate testing (A/B, UX) for all path‑to‑purchase initiatives.
Technical Expertise
  • Ecommerce in an Omnichannel environment requiring comprehensive understanding of digital efforts, checkout, fulfillment, logistics, order to cash, from order placed through customer returns.
  • Expertise in cart, checkout process and My Account experience.
  • Experience integrating with other applications (Fraud, Payment Provider, Geolocation, Order Management, WIZMO).
  • Familiarity with post‑purchase actions (payments issues, refunds, appeasements, fraud & tax experience).
  • Research and recommend best practices based on competitive analysis for website development initiatives.
  • Desire knowledge in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, A/B testing, Narvar.
Measurement Mindset
  • Measure and track initiative performance and provide the organization with pre‑ and post‑launch results analysis.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5 or more years’ experience in e‑commerce environments, creating scope requirement documents, user acceptance testing (UAT), usability testing, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • BA degree required.
  • Extensive understanding of retail e‑commerce landscape, including best‑practice features and functionality.
  • Ability to develop business functional specification and use cases.
  • Understanding of web technology fundamentals, including mobile and app.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodology is a must.
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking to initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Experience with in multi‑channel retailers required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and traditional project management tools.
  • Highly motivated, self‑directed problem solver with a demonstrated sense of urgency, exemplary work ethic and a sense of humor.
