Software QA Lead

Our Hawaii based client is searching for a Software QA Lead. The ideal candidate would sit in Hawaii, but they are willing to consider a remote employee on the west coast (as they will be expected to work on Hawaiian time). Relocation to Hawaii will be considered if the successful candidate is considered for contract-to-hire.

This position will focus on establishing and leading the organization’s overall test management process and structure. This is not a hands-on testing role
. We are looking for someone who can help establish the
strategy, vision, processes, and structure
around testing across the organization. They need to be able to think at a broader organizational level and build a more mature QA/test management function.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience working within a mid-sized to large organization
  .
• Experience gathering and understanding business requirements.
• Experience creating test cases.
• Experience developing test case execution plans.
• Experience tracking and managing overall testing activity.
• Experience establishing testing processes, standards, and best practices.

Current Testing Environment:

• Most testing is currently manual.
• Selenium experience is a plus
• Postman is a plus
• There is currently no consistent testing standardization or process across the various Test Teams.

The goal of this role is to come in and establish a more structured testing environment, including standardized processes, testing methodologies, and overall test management practices.
