Support Engineer II - SQL

Support Engineer II – Full-time

Essential Functions: This key individual will serve as a Senior Support Engineer for clients of Aegis Premier Technologies. This is a mid‑level position that will exercise independent initiative with the authority to act to meet all requirements for the client.

• Diagnose and resolve customer inquiries related to operating the Aegis platform in their environment.
• Ensure all issues are resolved using the proper resources.
• Experience in writing optimized SQL queries and understanding complex stored procedures.
• Have worked on creating SQL views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience in fine tuning SQL queries.
• Manage communications to clients at all levels to maintain positive relationships.
• Utilize information tools, training and experience to provide high level of client satisfaction.
• Ensure all requests are resolved and/or followed up on a timely and consistent manner.
• Provide status updates for ongoing issues and issues escalated to other departments.

• Excellent organizational, verbal communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Constructively work together as a team, sharing ideas and resources.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in MSSQL Server or other relational databases is must.
• Understand coding principles and languages used by developers.

• BS in Information Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in supporting mission‑critical applications.
• 3+ years of SQL development and script writing experience.
• Experience in using fundraising software is a plus (Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, Donor Pro, eTapestry, etc.).

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
