- Provide research, analysis, and planning support to the USPACOM Operations Directorate's Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell supporting PACAF
- Assist with senior-level strategic planning and briefings
- Prepare formal papers and background information for USPACOM and PACAF senior leaders
- Research and analyze national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, and threat and intelligence assessments
- Identify operational areas of concern and inform planning efforts
- Develop new concepts and identify new Electromagnetic Warfare capabilities
- Support integration of partner nation capabilities and coordinate with Service Components, research labs, industry, OSD, and Joint Staff
- Support JEMSO focused on PACAF operations throughout the Indo-Pacific
- Integrate and apply AI/LM tools to improve data analysis, reporting accuracy, and operational insights
- Work embedded at PACAF with primary responsibility for the USPACOM JEMSO cell
- Bachelor's degree, or at least 10 years of combined experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, capability development and/or policy in lieu of degree
- At least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command, Service Component or equivalent HQ
- At least 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
- Familiarity with PACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans (OPLANS)
- Experience writing reports, graphics and information papers
- Experience analyzing operational data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools in support of government client objectives (e.g. GPT, GenAI, Ask Sage, MAVEN, Machine Assist Disclosure (MAD), Python)
- Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
- Preferred:
Master's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College - Preferred:
Background in U.S. Air Force JEMSO operations in the air domain - Preferred:
Experience coordinating with DoD and non-DoD organizations - Preferred:
Graduate of Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course - Preferred:
Familiarity with JEMSO applications and databases (FADE/MIST, CED, etc.)
Demonstrates expertise in Electromagnetic Warfare operations and capability development, with a strong focus on strategic planning and analysis in support of national security objectives. Proficient in utilizing AI tools for data analysis and reporting within the context of Indo-Pacific operations.
