Chinese Operational Language Analyst Level 3

Job Duties

• Perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.
• Translate and/or transcribe complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
• Gist complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.

• US Citizens only.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph required.
• Recent (within the last two years) validated ILR Skill Level 3 (L/R). Scores must be listed on resume with date of test performed.
• Minimum of ten (10) years full‑time combined cryptologic language processing, related language and/or related cryptologic experience and a Bachelor’s degree; four (4) additional years of related, applied practical work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least six (6) of the ten (10) years of experience shall be in performing Cryptologic Operations language processing.
• At least six (6) of the ten (10) years of experience shall be in the required language.
• At least four (4) of the six (6) years of experience in the required language shall be in cryptologic language processing.
• At least three (3) of the six (6) years of experience in the required language shall be in translating and/or transcribing, and gisting.
• At least one (1) of the six (6) years of experience in the required language shall be in performing quality control review of both audio translations and text translations at the ILR level 3.
• No more than three (3) of the required ten (10) years of experience shall have reporting as the primary duty.
• One (1) of the six (6) years of experience in the required language shall be within six (6) years of resume submission.

Range: $122,000 - $168,000.
