Duties- Handle complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution
- Collaborate with other lawyers, including transactional attorneys, to provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions
- Work on high-profile cases with top-tier clients
- Develop legal strategies while understanding and considering clients’ business objectives
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, balancing both legal and business considerations
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings
- 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, business-savvy mindset
- Ability to handle complex litigation matters with minimal supervision
- Must be licensed to practice law in Hawaii (preferred but not required; assistance provided to candidates preparing for the Hawaii Bar Exam)
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Bar membership in Hawaii preferred, but not required. Assistance provided to candidates preparing for the Hawaii Bar Exam.
- Strong legal writing and research abilities
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively
- Collaborative team player with a client-focused approach
- Business acumen to understand client goals and deliver innovative legal solutions
