Job Summary

The Building and Maintenance administrator for the Facility Supervisor in accomplishing all new store development projects, construction projects and the repairs and maintenance work.

The Building and Maintenance administrator in insuring projects are starting on time and within the least time possible while simultaneously minimizing expenses and any losses that we may incur.

Projects
  • Collecting Proposals from Service Vendors
  • May require some background in field work.
  • May Require some background in Construction.
  • Communication with Contractors
  • Project Meetings
Capital Expense
  • Follow up on capital expense Projects with Service Vendors
  • May Require some background in reading layouts and blueprints
  • Collecting Cost from service vendors to complete capex project proposals
  • Follow up on capital expense schedule
Utilities
  • Electrical and Water reports
  • Refrigerant Leak reports
Permits / Contracts / Lease
  • Grease Interceptor Permit updates.
  • Elevator Permit updates.
  • Update service vendor contracts.
  • Work with Leasing department.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment that maybe demanding and/or stressful
  • Work done primarily indoors with air conditioning.
  • Extremely hot and/or cold temperatures:
    Warehouse/kitchen (100+o

    F);
    Chill (35o

    F)/freezer (-10o

    F)
  • Able to successfully deal with a large number of vendors and employees
  • Trouble shoot report from Store calls.

  • Exposed to electric – operated near machinery
  • Changes in environmental temperature when working outside and inside and inside of the store as well as in the chill and freezer
Qualifications Education/Training/Experience
  • Must be at least 18 yrs old, to handle equipment
  • High diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be able to work alone to complete assigned task without constant supervision.
Communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others in English
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Possess acceptable written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Effectively communicate up and down the organization
Other
  • Accurately and efficiently complete work in a timely manner
  • Able to effectively prioritize work
  • Able to meet deadlines in a short period of time
  • Able to quickly pick up and follow through with various projects
  • Troubleshooting/problem-solving ability

Compensation

Starting rate (as deemed by current pay schedule) or commensurate with experience.
