** The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the healthcare community. This includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, dining spaces, offices, and other facility areas while following health, safety, and infection-control standards to support resident comfort and well-being. The Housekeeper collaborates with the Kahala Nui team and residents while fostering a culture of malama, accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement.####

Key Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize assigned areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
* Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, carpets, and hallways.
* Collect and dispose of trash and refuse.
* Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, fixtures, and replenish supplies.
* Dust and clean furniture, lamps, glass surfaces, walls, windowsills, and woodwork.
* Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
* Report maintenance, repair, and supply needs to management.
* Respond to First Responder emergency calls when needed.
* Assist with training and orientation of new employees.
* Follow hospitality, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control standards.
* Respond to resident requests courteously and promptly.
* Attend required training and perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Annual tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
* Availability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
* Ability to read, write, and speak English.
