Castle & Cooke Hawaii is looking for a project management professional in real estate development to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, design, and construction of residential projects. This role requires close coordination with a cross‑functional team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. This role will also be responsible for effectively communicating project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
The ideal candidate is a team player and critical thinker with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Plan and oversee residential development projects from concept to completion; including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, timeline, risk assessments, and ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses in compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Resolve conflicts and issues on‑site or with stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in residential development, project development, construction management, or in a similar role required.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, contracts, cost control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Fosters a collaborative work environment.
- Competent using Microsoft Office, and project management software.
$120,000 - $160,000 annual
