RESPONSIBILITIES I.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Serves as primary Finance consultant/Subject Matter Expert (SME) on labor and productivity performance improvement initiatives where a majority of QHS’ expenses reside.
- Leads transformative change in approaches to benchmarking, labor productivity and cost management.
- Develops analytics capabilities and provides data insights that enables the organization to make proactive, knowledge driven decisions to drive strategic and targeted improvement efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, statistics, or other related analytical/data/business information field.
- Master's degree in industrial management, business administration, hospital administration, science or related field preferred.
- No certification and/or licensure requirement.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years combined experience in data and analytics relating to labor and productivity workload, cost metrics, utilization trends, and financial modeling.
- Two (2) years of work experience using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience.
- Experience to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to serve as Subject Matter Expert on cost and labor benchmarking methodologies and their relationship to labor productivity, non-productive time, and costs.
- Ability to relate to and deal effectively with health care providers, administrators, and frontline staff in leading transformative change.
- Ability to create technical reports and impactful presentations.
- Proven track record in project management to organize, prioritize and analyze multiple initiatives with strong communication, execution and monitoring.
- Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills by rising above conflicts and assisting teams in seeking common resolution toward meeting QHS goals.
- Prior healthcare and/or population health management experience preferred.
