Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geospatial components of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Serve as the Professional Land Surveyor in responsible charge for projects requiring licensure and professional oversight.
- Oversee and direct survey and geospatial teams performing field and office tasks.
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development within the team.
- Ensure contract obligations and client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Foster strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain internal and external client networks.
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives within the geospatial group.
- Prepare and review proposals, participate in interviews, and support business development efforts.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans in collaboration with group leadership.
- Monitor project performance, implement process improvements, and manage change effectively.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage project financials, invoicing, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington State, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the geospatial industry.
- At least 5 years of project management experience with direct client interaction and full project delivery responsibility.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and right-of-way engineering.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth.

The base salary range for this position is $98,900.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
