Project Manager

Location:

Honolulu, HI (On-site) Industry: Architecture & Planning Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 per year

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee day-to-day project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating project phases from concept through construction. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage client communication and expectations, and ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and code compliance. This is a vital role for someone who can proactively address risks, monitor budgets, and drive projects to successful outcomes in a collaborative, research-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery:
    Oversee project execution from concept to construction, managing timelines, budgets, and project phases.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, delegating effectively to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Client Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building long-term professional relationships.
  • Technical Compliance:
    Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to building codes and permitting processes.
  • Coordination:
    Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field; professional licensure or active pursuit of licensure is preferred.
  • Experience:

    Demonstrated project management experience in architecture or related fields, with the ability to coordinate scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Proficiency with architectural documentation and coordination tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, project management software) and familiarity with permitting processes.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, and technical detailing for commercial, civic, academic, and/or housing projects.
  • Communication:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and schedules.
