Overview

SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company, is hiring a multi‑functional supply‑chain leader in Huntsville, AL. The role requires U.S. citizenship due to Department of Defense contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the purchasing, planning, and warehouse management organization and oversee all KPI areas impacting inventory assets.
  • Ensure staff are trained on and use the available tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with corporate and divisional initiatives, including new tool projects, and cross‑functional teams (e.g., plant CFT).
  • Enable plant revenue and financial goals.
  • Own the training, management, and performance control of the following functional areas:
  • Purchasing – monitor key parameters influencing inventory turns; execute MRP, resolve receiving discrepancies, manage MRB/RTV disposition, improve agility turns, and review item attributes such as safety stock, MOQ, lead time, and FLM.
  • Inventory – manage inventory controls to meet or exceed corporate guidelines, audit and guide cycle count procedures, and monitor physical inventories.
  • Reporting – provide reports including E&O resolution, inventory offset, MDS plant weekly reviews, IO report, and MDS gap management, with a focus on achieving gap goals.
  • Training – oversee training for all functions on corporate QAP, QAF, QAR, plant SOPs, and performance excellence and ethics.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Partner with plant managers to achieve plant goals.
  • Assist in securing new customer accounts and business growth.
  • Present supply‑chain solutions and support current and future business planning.
  • Understand all business functions to facilitate cross‑functional management.
  • Create a continuous‑improvement environment that encourages collaboration and employee development.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship required (Department of Defense contract requirement).
  • Strong leadership and hands‑on management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory and supply‑chain tools and KPI management.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory control, reporting, and training.
